Establishing the Foundation

Issue 01 explores a palette developed through layered materials and tonal relationships rather than isolated applications of colour.

Vistoris Lake forms the dominant thread throughout the scheme. It appears across flooring, wall finishes and fabrics, establishing a consistent foundation that anchors the overall composition.

Creating Depth Through Green

Lincoln Green and Cobalt Green introduce depth and variation within the cooler spectrum. Together, they add structure and contrast while maintaining cohesion across the palette.

Rather than becoming dominant features, these tones are repeated subtly throughout the material selection. This allows them to reinforce the palette without competing for attention.

Introducing Softened Warmth

Pale Lemon Yellow provides a reference point for introducing warmth. Rather than appearing directly, it informs the selection of softened beige, cream and off-white tones.

Warm timber finishes further support this relationship, adding natural warmth and tactility while balancing the palette’s cooler foundational colours.

Colour Through Materiality

The resulting palette is defined by material integration and tonal layering. Colour is experienced through surfaces, textures and repetition rather than as a series of standalone elements.

The scheme does not rely on strong contrast. Instead, its strength comes from the way each material and colour is distributed throughout the space, creating continuity, balance and quiet variation.
