  • Delivery

Ringwood Family Medical Centre was delivered through a three-stage construction program, allowing the practice to remain semi-operational during works. Partial demolition of the existing fit-out enabled the creation of additional consulting rooms and improved functionality by repurposing underutilised spaces. The result is a more efficient and flexible medical environment that better supports daily operations.

The Challenge

The key challenge was delivering construction works while allowing Ringwood Family Medical Centre to remain semi-operational. Limited space, existing constraints, and the need to minimise disruption to staff and patients required a carefully staged and highly coordinated approach.

The Solution

A three-stage construction program was implemented, enabling partial demolition and progressive upgrades to the existing fit-out. This approach allowed underutilised areas to be reconfigured into additional consulting rooms and more functional spaces, improving overall efficiency without interrupting day-to-day operations.

Design Considerations

Design decisions focused on maximising functionality, improving clinical flow, and ensuring flexibility for future growth. Careful planning of room layouts and services ensured the new spaces supported the operational needs of the practice while maintaining a calm and professional healthcare environment.
