UGV – Urology Group Victoria involved the adaptive reuse of an existing Richmond building to create a purpose-built healthcare practice. The project included a new lift, accessibility upgrades and coordinated services to meet current compliance and operational requirements. A palette of rich greens, warm timbers and earthy tones creates a calm, sophisticated environment alongside a highly functional clinical layout.

The Challenge

The existing building required significant upgrades to support its change of use into a modern urology practice, including accessibility, compliance and service coordination within the existing structure.

The Solution

The building was transformed into a fully compliant healthcare environment with a new lift, accessibility upgrades and a functional layout designed around patient and staff needs. Warm materials and earthy tones create a cohesive and welcoming identity.

Health and Wellbeing Considerations

Clear circulation, accessible facilities, considered lighting and comfortable waiting areas support patient comfort and ease of movement. Efficient planning and functional staff spaces also contribute to smoother workflows and staff wellbeing.
